Years ago, these lands were overrun by a large group of organized soldiers who had escaped the conquest of their kingdom by the Black Lion Knights. These soldiers invaded and defeated the army of the baron’s family and continued to establish a kingdom in their own image by building the Royal Castle. The terms of surrender allowed for the baron’s family to remain in the tower from which they once ruled. In acknowledgement of their history, the Royal Knights adopted the baron family’s tower as the official crest for their kingdom. The Royal Knights knew that the Black Lion Knight empire would one day extend toward their new home. Therefore, upon taking control of this region, the knights turned their attention to expediting the construction of the Royal Castle.

During the years that followed, various bands and gangs emerged and were eventually turned away by the royal knights. However, one such band, the Wolf Clan, have successfully eluded capture by hiding within nearby ruins. Over time they grew into a larger, more organized gang that continues to be a thorn in the side of authorities. Despite repeated interference by the Wolf Clan and various other obstacles, the Royal Castle was completed. Strategically located amidst an oak tree forest the castle is the primary fortified structure in the path of any army that intends to move toward the village and farms.
